Depends on what you're looking for. The 328 is a great car, but if you love torque go with the 335i!

i agree with TEST DRIVING the cars however having driven both cars and getting a 335i i will let you know that if you test drive the 335i first it will ruin your opinion of the 328

i personally own loaded '09 335i x-drive. but this guy comes along, asks why i even bothered to drive that "piece of shit" and i was upset and was arguing and he says bring a legit evidence that 335 is better than 328, other than the speed. so i'm asking lol

in that case, I say 328 is the better value of the two

he is stupid for making that statement, and you're too for getting all worked up over his statement. Were you really upset? did you cry and stuff?

Anybody who calls a 335i a piece of shit is a fucking moron and should be spit on. They obviously dont realize what it is. What do they drive? Probably one of 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 mustangs out there.

They're both good cars, both have their ups and both have their downs. You won't be disappointed with either, so go to a dealer, line em both up, and have some fun deciding.

Wouldn't mind a Shelby GT500, has much better heritage than an M for the price of a decent 335i.

i dunno....but wouldnt the 335i be better than the 328i without a question? since it's the same car but one has a better engine...? and y would anyone bother to compare the 2 anyway since 335i is 2 notches higher than the 328i? (considering there's also a 330i in between?) and plus 335i is higher in the line up anyway...
i might just get a little worked up if im a 335i owner and a G37 owner gives me stupid shit like 'who drives a piece of shit like that'....but still, i wouldnt give a shit, coz i should be hapi with wuteva im driving anyway.

It really is a case of being Obtuse if he asked you to bring evidence, is he 15 years old?
The Standard equipment itself makes it worth it and nobody wants to have the distinction of driving the cheapest 3 series that they lease by the millions everyday.

the rule of thumb is,

if you gonna get 328, do not test-drive 335. just pick a color and options and never look back. it's a fine car and you'll be perfectly happy. oh, btw, don't do e90post either cuz 335 owners pick on 328 owners all the time

if you must test-drive 335, even for no other reason than to satisfy your curiosity, just get 335 and get it over with.

oh btw, if i could go back and choose one thing that i didn't, i'd definately get 19-inch wheels and tires. our cars look so much better on those 19s. but then it could be just me...

test drive both, I'm pretty sure the 335 is gonna win you over.
