E90 LCI Tail Blinkers are what color?

if you have one, what color are they?

Mine are red but today on my way to school a 328 lci the same color as mine, passed me on the highway and when he changed lanes his rear blinkers were yellow!

How is this? can they be yellow when you get a certain package or are they being manufactured like this after a certain date?

you can easily change out the bulb, heck you can have them blink green if you want

I had green blinkers on my Emerald Green GMC Jimmy back in HS when I thought it was cool.

LCI blinkers are LEDs. Try swapping those out

The car in question may have been brought back from Europe by someone who had been stationed over here. European cars must have amber turn signals.

How about sharing how you went about obtaining the Euro Tails for those that wish to do the same?

OK. This may sound strange but I went to my local BMW dealership's part department.

I told them that I had a US Spec LCI E90 -- I mentioned it was US spec because I live in England and needed to differentiate mine from the local cars. They looked up the car on their computer, set for US, and found the part number for the OEM light. Then they set the computer for Europe and looked up the part number for the European OEM light. Since they were different but knowing the body style isn't, the European OEM light was ordered. Installation was simply a matter of R&R.

The part numbers I got were 63 21 7 154 153 & 63 21 7 154 154. These are just the outer units. The ones that are fitted to the trunk lid are different parts and don't need replacing.
