Fitted GP Thunder bulbs - Smoking ???
I have just fitted some GP Thunder 7500k bulbs to both my car and my bike. When I first turned them on there was loads of smoke in the headlight housing on both vehicles. Is this normal on first use ???
It does seem to have calmed down but is still there slightly. The bulbs were NOT touched during installation. Strange. |

I actually hear of this happening quite often but never experienced this myself. I've installed 4..5 sets of GP Thunders for people and never have i encountered this. Although i did notice that most people who had the bulbs smoking problem are the same ones that have the bulbs burn out more often.
fwiw, i've had my set for 1 1/2+ years now and im still on my original set, but i've known people who had 2..3 sets within 6months already. |
