What would you go for? a 135i or a 335i? Practicality is not needed so a 1 series is considerable. Suggestions welcome. Need a car that seats more than 2 though.

I don't if you plan to lease or buy, but the lease quotes people having been getting on 135's are crazy high, like M3 territory.

335 just looks better and the interior is nicer, overall the 335 is just a sexier car. With that said, I don't think that the 135 is ugly car, I just think that since the difference in price isn't that great - you just get a better value for your money with the 335.
I also think that the 335 will be easier to resale.

Well then the rates should be pretty similar either way. Go with whatever one you like more.

if you can get a 335, why get a 135??
i had the same dilemma too, i really wanted a 135 before it even came out cuz it was small and thought that there would be a significant difference in performance and price (lighter and better suspension), in the end, theyre still similar. 335 looks much more classier. |

Since you are on the e90 post your poll will be biased towards the 335i. It would be fun to create the same poll on 1addicts.com and see what the results are.
My 2 cents on the decision...Depends how much you want to 'tweak' the car after you buy it. If the $50K includes after purchase mods then you might want to get the 135 so you have more modification budget. If on the other hand you are going to leave it stock then the 335i is a sure winner that you won't regret. BTW I voted for the 335.

Since this is the E90 forum it would stand to reason that the poll results would be heavily skewed to the 335i This would be like taking an Obama vs, McCain Poll at a meeting of the National Republican Comittee. CA

I agree with most above. both cars similar performance, if you really want more you can mod either, but 335 is just sooooo much sexier looking. I like the 135i but it looks like a glorified Renault, just doesnt have the "oomph"....
LOL, I would like to know who's the ONE person who voted 135? |
