Removing Fixed Rear Seat

Hi guys,

Having found this thread:

I attempted to remove the rear seat but I can't figure out how to release the locking mechanism.

Can somebody please point out where and how I should be using the flathead screwdriver?

I had the same exact problem helping my friend put in his sirius receiver. We never could figure out how to open the latches.

Instead, I just unbolted all the nuts that you see in the picture. What this will do is release the latch from the rear deck but not from the seat. When the seat is removed, manually disengage the latch from the seat and bolt the latch back on to the rear deck.
