My car is running 15 degrees hotter all of a sudden.....

So I got my car back from the dealer a couple of days ago. I had my actuators replaced, oil topped off, and new lagtastic software put on my car because they don't have the new ista program up and running yet. anyways, my car came with an oil cooler and never went over 230 on the gauge, but since i got it back from the dealer, it goes up to 245 now. What could be causing that? the software? Should i be worried they did something wrong to my car? I live in miami so the temperature change here is minimal at best. Also, on a side note, i know bmw tops off oil when it gets low, but when will they give me my free oil change? Thanks for any ideas and help. cheers

Might be the oil. What brand oil are you using? I remember when i switched from the oil that came with the car when i first bought it to Mobil 1 0w40. My oil temps went down by 10 degrees.

it was the oil the dealer uses, wouldn't it be the same as the car already had in it?
