Anyone have a 335i with a MT?

I'm interested to know if anyone has a 335i with a stick instead of a steptronic. My 330i has the steptronic and I'm toying with getting the 335i.

Lots of people with MT (me included). Yes, it costs more to get a Steptronic. Yes, the Steptronic's faster, but I opted for the manual because I've always loved manuals and being connected to the car.

I have a 6MT 335i. I've driven the Steptronic also. It's a great auto transmission, but I still like the manual MUCH better.

The MT gives me a more connected feeling with the car. The steptronic is great too but I prefer the manual.

Reasons I got mine with MT.
1. You can make engine dance for you.
2. Because it's more fun.
3. Because it's a lot more fun.
4. I can blip to make vroom vroom sound.

This is my first stick actually. They only had one on the lot so I had them go get one. I am glad I did. It is hard to track a car with an auto I think. Just doesn't feel right.

This is nice to read that there are other 335i owners here who love their 6MT! I agree with all the positive posts about reasons why you like the manual on this car. I love the positive control and the pure enjoyment with this manual. I've even thought about how much I love it and wouldn't trade it for an auto/Steptronic even while sitting in SoCal stop and go traffic.

Manual for sure.
Going to stay that way until I can no longer press down a clutch.

Not to bash auto drivers, but driving an auto puts me to sleep. Manual transmission is very engaging and makes the 335 a blast to drive.

It also depends on your situtation, are you in a lot of stop and go traffic?

Do you have to share a car with your wife/husband?
