Rattling noise from driver window in e92/e93

My driver side window makes a rattling noise. Earlier, I used to think that it is coming from the roof, however, lately I heard it with the top down and the windows up. It appears that the plastic/rubber holding the window is causing it to shake.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I have the same rattle on mine too! I have 12k miles on my car. The rattle is coming from the B pilar. It appears to be the rubber trim between the front and rear driver side window.

It happens with the top up or down.

I have read other post regarding the same issue. Dealer should take care of it though...

I also have the brake noise during accelaration, and the top grunts - sounds like it needs lubrication or adjustment - when it begins to open, and when it completes the closing. I am afraid to have the dealer fix it since I am afraid they might make it worse.

Oh well, this is life with a convertible. I try not to obsess about it...

ok so i got it back from the dealer who not only did not fix the ticking window issue, their solution was to rub some kind of oil all over the rubber around the window, as a result every time i lower the window when i bring it up again it is full of oily smudges...SUX!
