stupid question, but how would one use this on a stock rear defuser equiped car? where would the second set of tips fit?

it should include a template to cutout the slot for the second set of tips

Nah, it's pretty simple. Had to cut the left side of the diffuser on my e90 to fit remus quads and it looks stock. The stock diffuser is fairly thin plastic, so it's a very simple job. Check it out.
