Exhaust Install Near North Seattle?

Hi all,

I've got the BMW performance exhaust but BMW wants $160 to install it.

Anyone know of a good place nearby that would do it (and do it well) for half that? Thanks!

I regularly serviced my old 330i at Eastside Bavarian when I worked in Issaquah. It's a long drive if you're coming from north Seattle but they are good, friendly folks and professional. The owners and techs are all from BMW dealerships with years of experience.

You might also try Dan Fast Muffler and Brake. They have a shop in Lynnwood. I used their shop in Bellevue a couple of years ago to install an axle-back exhaust system on my old IS350. They handled the parts carefully, laid out the parts and test fitted to ensure everything lined up right before bolting them tight. They were very courteous and seemed eager and happy to install aftermarket stuff that was not of their own making.

As for pricing, sorry, I can't remember their rates nor find my old receipts.

Any Speed shop could and would do it. You have Gravity Motorsports in Seattle and Speedware in Redmond who is awesome and has done my sways and springs. I bet one hour or less in labor at $85 an hour.

$160 is more than reasonable for this job.

It's not just bolt on with a 135i.

I am thinking about maybe upgrading the rear brakes rotors, especially when it is starting to rust on the parts where the rims connects to the rotor. Is Speedware motorsports a good place to go to upgrade the brakes?

You can also try Tru-Line Bellevue. It's a Tirerack recommended installer. The president who does all of the work, is ASE certified in suspension systems (that includes brakes) as well as in undercarriage and structural work. He is also a Porsche enthusiast.
