Brake Pad Option/Deal

Hope this doesn't break any forum rules... I sent an inquiry to Carbotech about replacement pads for the 135, attached below is the reply.
Mines a daily driver so I can not take advantage of.
Anyone interested? Let us know how it turns out!

If you send me a set of cores (new/used) and let us keep them for about two weeks, I will make you a set of Bobcat 1521 for the front and rear at 50% off. We need to get those backing plates laser cut, both front and rear are new pad shapes for BMW.

We have already done a set but the customer needed them back ASAP so we didn't have time to get them laser cut.

Sounds like a great deal. Does anybody have any experience with Carbotech?

I work with Danny at Carbotech all the time. They are a great standup company. The 1521 (Panther+) pads are a good street/light track pad. The XP8 or XP10 would be a better choice for track duty.

I can talk with Danny and see if I can measure the pads for him and if that will do.

Carbotech's a good company and make excellent brake pads. When I had my Audi, they were mentioned and quite often used by many. Just make sure you don't get the track pads or autox pads for street use....noooiiiisssy.

Had the Panther+ a few cars back. I really loved the brake feel and stopping power. Great initial bite as well. Only saw street use with them though. However, they made the BMW dust look tame, and would squeal on occasion.
