prove that to me.. i put an HKS SSQV bov on my Evo and had the worst drivability ever, even after installing a recirculating kit.. unless you're getting rid of the MAF, i wouldn't use anything but the stock bov...
PS: HKS makes great products and if someone was to put a big single turbo and a EMS on the 135i, this bov should be on the list!

I had an SRT-4 with the HKS and I had no driveability issues, all I had were people swerving out of the way and holding their ears or diving onto to the sidewalks everytime it would blow off. I just want to hear some reviews from people that have actually installed it.

car will run rich if you run a BOV even if the driveability seems stock. The MAF sensor is reading the amount of air in your intake and dumping enough fuel for that metered air. once the metered air is let out you still have that fuel that was compensating for it.
This may not have any effect on your engine but you may smell unburnt fuel. |

Another person that actually has the kit and i have not noticed any driveability issues or burning gas smell. I got the HKS kit as it seems to be a bit quieter, i have the purple insert so the noise is lower and not the high pitched whistle. I like it..at low rpms there's not much of a sound but when u get on it, then you can hear it. |

Based on the two youtube videos below, IMO I would prefer the Tial BOV vs. the HKS due to the high pitch "whistling", I also noticed that it seems to take less time to vent using the Tial. Is there anything to this, or is this just my imagination?
