USB question

Please don't flame me too hard if this is exceptionally stupid, but I am old(er) and not too computer/technology savvy. I have a thumb drive or two and I have iTunes on four different computers at work/home with lots of different songs on them.

My question is: do you just copy and paste the files onto the thumb drive and then the stereo plays them when I use the USB port? That would be very, very cool if true.

Thanks in advance...

yes... Do not use itunes but use my computer (PC) and drag and drop the files onto your USB thumb drive... Then you can use the BMW stereo headunit to browse the songs... You will be able to browse the songs, albums in just the same why they are organized on you harddrive, so you will use the folder tree and not the MP3 tags.

Please let me know if I was clear enough, if not ask as many qus as you want.

Thank you very much - those instructions were clear (even for me!). About to load a few tunes on a thumb drive and give it a try - will let you know the results!

Thanks again!
