I just don't get putting larger wheels on a car just for the sake of being able to say you've got them. 18" is the limit for me on a car like this.

18"s for me, I think the 19s could look ok but any bigger and it will just look wrong.

i think 19" performance wheels are about the max i could ever see but until i were to see someone actually pull it off in person, i'd stay with the 18"...don't care for too much of an 'aftermarket' look

Yesterday my friend and I mounted his 20" DPE on my 135i. The offset on his wheels are crazy as he has a widebody E46 and in the rear I was 2 inches out of the fender. As far as the size went, 20's fit just fine and would look good on the car given a good drop. Let me pull the pic off my phone to show you guys.

20" wheels on a 1 is GHETTO BIG TIME. Ruins the car 100%.
19" look great. But go ahead on enjoy a shit ride with 20's. Its your $$$. Better buy the best 1 piece forged wheels. |

We have 19's on the car right now for Bimmerfest (we're not gangsta enough to race on 19's). Doesn't look that big on the car though. We have 255 in the rear and it rubs (will clear with fender rolled)..
