Personalised number plate options

Personally, I think the euro plates look great on a BMW, and I managed to secure V BM 125 for mine. V BM 135 has already been ordered too. I played around with a few others and SER1ES is available, as is the standard plate with BM 135 and BM 125.

Has anyone else ordered a special plate for their new ride?

I got myself one of the Azn special plates that Vicroads are selling right now for $888. Number plate is 888WW with a rabbit between the number and the letter.

I suspect many buying the 1 series will be around our age. Maybe we should start an age thread...

True, but I am refering to an Australian specific poll. The thing is, cars are much more expensive in Australia so I would expect that most buyers would be a bit older. Our 135i for example is double what yours is. How many 22 year old can afford a 80k car? Not many.

Car designed by europeans, so I think the regular sized euro plates will suit it the best. They look good on the 3ers, so assume he 1er will look ok also.

With another 6 weeks to go before I slide behind the wheel of my new ride, my thoughts have turned to what plate I might choose as well.

A lot of the good ones have gone already, and I suspect that posting the available choices that I am grappling with could only lead to someone else grabbing it before I do.. so once I've decided on mine I will post the alternatives that I came up with

nice, but too many characters... I was going to go minimalist with a simple "E82" , but the GF thought it would be the biggest waste of $500 ever, given that no one would get it.
