9 inch width in front possible?

Think i can stuff 9's in the front. I was thinking about going 18x9 all the way around, with a slightly staggered tire width set up difference of maybe 20mm...discuss the feasability and potential issues please...

It will really depend on what the offset is on the wheel and the amount of space in the wheel well. I was able to get 17x9's with 255/40-17's on my 330 all the way around with no spacers (+45 offset) and was hoping to be able to use them on the 135 also (with spacers of course based on the stated offsets). We may need to roll the fenders a little or a lot, who knows. Some additional camber might help the upper well clearance also. Be patient and just wait for the car and then measure it all out.

I have 17x9 DForce LTW5's too (16.2lbs each), and am hoping to use them for the car as well. You too, or SSR Comps?

17X9 would be awesome but from what people(hatch back owners) say it doesn't sound good. My idea is with 2+ deg neg camber the right offset and some fender rolling it might be possible. I have a really nice set of 17X9 SSR 45mm offset COMP-Hs hanging around in my garage

With the coupes coming with larger tires/wheels than any other 1er to date, I'm hopeful we'll have a smidgen more room to shoehorn some more treaded love in there.

SSR's. I have 8 wheels laying around, so reuse is preferrable, but we will see when the time comes.
