GPS info and 4x4 info

hello all, coming from a BMW X3, I miss the GPS info (altitude etc.) and the 4x4 info pitch, roll etc.
I have an xdrive so 4x4. I dont seem to understand why they eliminated this info
also, we all have GPS, and info on the altitude was useful in my case (Italy is very mountainous)

Another thing the x3 had was the energy flow diagram.. useless in the x3 but bit more useful in the mild hybrid (23D)

anyone else miss these features ?

I do. Best platform in class, with a very lacking UI, confusing driving modes with ambiences, and stupid UI configuration limitations.
Having the PHEV X130e, the only way I am able to check energy flows is the instant mileage screen, but only in numerical way, where you see instant mpg (always positive when ice runs) and kwh (negative when charging regeneratively)

Not sure if thats what you look for but if you swtich to efficiency - then go to Adaptive View
You can see the stats :

- when car in front - regenerate
- when no car - electric and you have pedal/brake and something else for battery regen
- when no car - when it switches off the engine to cruise

The adaptive view is available in eco and personal modes, my wife has it turned on sometimes it's also one of the widgets she has configured.

It shows want mode the car is in, is it regenerative braking, it also might show why so that a car or roundabout is ahead. Ditto apply power what mode its in so if its just EV or if the engine is running etc. It a different view than the X1 but I wouldn't say better or worse it's just different. I think it's pretty good to be honest.

I think we have even set it as a shortcut as its a helpful way of seeing what the car is doing.

I swear there was an option in the cluster for an XY axis g-meter or something. I'll have to see if I can find it when I get the chance. But also keep in mind that this is BMW's entry level SUV/SAV, whether to cost save or gatekeep certain features for the more expensive vehicles, there's a lot of things we won't get in an X1 that an X3/X5/X7 would have.

pretty sure my X1(U.S.) has the g-meter as well, just have to select it in one of the display options for the main screen(behind the steering wheel)

I'm not brave enough to see how far I can push it on the g-meter.

Was told by genius who set up my car that this feature has disappeared with the MY24 models. All models moving forward will not have this meter according to the dude
