Bought a 2020 38k mile m340 for 46k before tax and fees, a 9k mile m340 posted after

Well I searched within a 250 mile radius to find the exact color inferior and exterior 2020 m340 with a clean carfax and decent packages lowest miles possible and found a CPO 38k mile for 46k before taxes and fees. 50k after taxes and fees. right after I bought/financed it the same exact color scheme 2020 m340 gets posted for 51k with only 9k miles wow. If I only I waited one more day while shopping. How would you feel about this situation. I did not want a 2021+ due to the mild hybrid and I know I could have got one of those for a similar price with lower miles. But I really wanted a 2020. Is 38k miles still good for this car? It comes with CPO for a year that I plan to extend. Will most likely sell the car around 70-80k miles . Only thing is the 9k mile one is a used car dealer the one I got is cpo from bmw and he regularly took it in for maintenance there when I checked the carfax so I guess that’s a good thing.I seen someone “reserved” this 9k mile 2020 m340 for a test drive that day so it was unavailable to purchase but now it is available so I assume something may have went wrong with his test drive and inspection? Again I know I may have paid a little on the higher end for my purchase but it was the lowest miles I could find at the time. What are your thoughts on all this

You got the car you wanted, although it having to be a 2020 limited your options. The mild hybrid works pretty flawlessly in my experience, and I have had a 2020 and now a 2023.

Sounds good, what are some main differences you noticed between the two? Which one you like more and do you miss the sound of the 2020? Also how long would you say a well maintained 2020. M340 would last mile wise

I turned off stop start in the 2020 with the button. If I’m in real stop and go traffic in the 2023 I just put in it sport which switches it off. My 2020 was a 330i so the m340i of course sounds much better.

If you treat it with mechanical sympathy and service it properly a very long time I would assume, you could easily take these cars to 200k miles but there will be things that might need to be replaced.
