Los Angeles Auto Show- November 16th.
That's just a guess- but what else have they got to announce? Perfect N/A drama scenario with some Bangle for bucks. We'll have already seen the car in Frankfurt... and as Hugo and Ultimate have said, the press will be all over it by November (which would be the December issues). |

I suspect the days of the 'buff books' calling the shots on car information are numbered, their timelines are just too long. So I would expect some 'net' reviews on the 1er Coupe before the end of September. |

BMW has called the shots from the get-go. They've controlled the pics, the little info we have. What about 4 weeks ago BMW just locked it down...nothing except this... which I guess really is a candid caught on the fly spy pic....one of the very few. The price question has been very emotional - maybe BMW has enjoyed the drama. I haven't. |

Oh no! I don't like what I see in that spy shot.
The car looks sort of silly. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...6593#post16593 |

I suspect the headlights can be fixed with lids... It'll probably look great in person though. Some cars just don't photograph well. |

BMW has inadvertently let slip the pricing for its forthcoming new 1-series Coupe, which goes on sale in November.
According to figures on the firm's British website, the two-door 1-series will start at £21,585 for the 175bhp 120d ES Coupe. That's a premium of £940 over the three-door 120d ES and £1170 over the five-door. Prices rise to £23,025 for the 120d SE and £24,705 for the 120d M-Sport. Two other versions will be available from launch; the 201bhp 123d (£24,855 for the SE, £26,290 for the M-Sport) and the turbocharged six-cylinder 135i M-Sport, at £29,745. |
