123D to Canada?

Just got the BMW magazine and in it was a BMW EfficientDynamics marketing insert. It says "Starting in 2008, we will introduce clean high-performance and fuel-efficient diesel engines to the Canadian market."

Since there aren't any new models other than the 1 that I'm aware of, do we get the diesel?

I wonder if that Vishnu turbo tuning system will work on a diesel?

I believe that NA will see a X5 diesel first. I would love to see the 123d sooner, but it's unlikely that we will see it before 2009 or 2010.
