Not quite the same but I have the HTC Modul from Sprint with Windows Mobile 6.1.. it works fine... incoming callerid, phone book (contacts), etc. The only thing I have not figured out is if I get a call while I am on the phone I cannot switch or conference from the Nav System. Tom

I have the Verizon version (but it's still an HTC Touch) and it all pairs effortlessly. I am using a March 2007 build progman, as I think that it's possible newer versions may affect how well it can pair.

If you bought an unlocked GSM version, it should work the same way as the GSM version in the states (the AT&T). So, no worries.

I have the HTC Touch Pro, and it works fairly well. It lists the contacts as "First name, last initial', where as my previous Moto Q read as "Last name, First name". I imagine the Touch HD will follow suit...
P.S. I am extremely jealous and curse US mobile companies daily for not bringing the iPhone killer to the states |

well im not sure you can call it an iPhone killer, my main concern right now is Windows Mobile people, keep telling me its crap!
the iPhone GUI is still better and smoother to use and still more desirable. Im sure the next gen iphone should be good if not better than the HTC. surely its going to be released some time this year in the same way they bring out new gen. ipods year on year. |

That is really, really surprising. Lots of folks here are reporting success with GSM versions. The bluetooth module should be identical on GSM and CDMA phones.
