iPhone not Supported in iDrive

Hi Guys,

I tired plugging in my iphone with the regular white cable to my center console's USB port, but in my iDrive, it shows "Not Supported". However, it is able to charge, but unable to operate thru iDrive.

Also, when i tried plugging in to the glove box's USB to transfer music, it says, "No device found.. Please plug blah blah blah.."

Anyone ?

Cheers,
Mark

I use my iPhone with the dealer supplied Y-cable in the armrest, and it works great in my 2009 335. Did you try that?

To transfer music in the glovebox, you need to use a USB drive, not an iPhone.
