Here's the educational part of it:

2023 inventory was super scarce, and demand was high despite all the gripe about the front facia and idrive8.

BMW just didn't produce enough of these, and the tail end of the production cycle, they just canceled orders.

IMO, BMW saw an opportunity to hike prices on the 2024 and knew people would just wait for them and pay up.

So now we are seeing 2024s in production and some already in inventory. There is still a huge backlog of 2023 customers waiting on their cars, so dealers are not in a rush to start giving discounts on these.

There are some dealers who are game and understand that BMW is rewarding dealers for high volume / turn rate. The more they sell, the more allocations they receive.

There are less than a handful of dealers in the US willing to discount X7s. These dealers want to pre-sell every production slot with the understanding BMW will keep rewarding them.

Here are your targets:

2024 X7 40i 4-6% off dealer discount
2024 X7 M40 3-4% off dealer discount

Loyalty is $1000 for lease and $750 for finance

Buy rate is .00165 MF and 4.99% for up to 60 mo financing BMWFS
