iphone problem

I have the 08 335i sedan everyy option and package except the i [pod adapter unfortunately. I only have the AUX wire when i lift the middle storage compartment. Many people told me i cannot integrate my iphone into my idrive bc there are no wires (usb wire) running through. I know it might sound silly and prob posted before but is there anything i can do to integrate my iphone. i have bluetooth connection so maybe that might help? i dont know, thanks for your help

Thats odd, I have an E92 coupe without the adapter and the car catches my phone when I plug my USB in. I just go into the communication tab and click on phone, and then when I turn the bluetooth on in the Iphone it reads the BMW and then Sync's the phone into the car. I don't know why the sedan would be any different because as far as I'm concerned both of our Idrives are the same.

i understand your situation you have a USB i dont i only have an AUX thats it

an aux input is just that, u cannot "connect" the iphone to it... U will need to buy the BMW accesory Ipod retrofit to gain functionality

My car came with the CD Changer, I figured that if I can DRM free my itunes, I can burn 7 CD's each with 150 songs = 1,050 songs or 4.5 GB of music, I not even have all this on my Iphone and I don't need to buy the Ipod integration... Just a thought.
