It would depend on your dealer. Mine didn't have any discounts; including no loyalty incentive.

Nothing, He had a valid point. They can't really give a discount on a car that hasn't even left factory and is on backorder.

my friend bought one that was on the lot 3 weeks ago. he used the Sam's Club offer for buying BMW before end of December to get the free $1000 Sam's Club e-gift card.(which is as good as cash to him, since he buys tons of stuff from Walmart and Sam's Club)

the X1 that he bought was really basic. it didn't even have wireless charger. the *only* option was the sport seats. MSRP was around $39,500 or something less. although he didn't really care. it is currently in a shop with most interior and doors taken off... for a big car stereo build.(costing over $7000)

Paid MSRP.

Trade in value was almost the same as purchase price 2.5 years ago and 30k miles later.

Received 1,500 off for military.

Free all weather floor mats.

Purchased a dealer spec vehicle that was incoming vs waiting 3-6 months for a spec to order.

Worried trade in values will plummet later this year and didn't want to pay an extra 500 for the vehicle when the price increase takes effect.

Are you trying to buy right-hand-drive one from Australia and have it shipped to the US?

Have seen plenty of brokers on the east coast offering 4-6% off MSRP

They take a $500-600 broker fee but it's still a good deal considering dealerships offering MSRP

Wow which dealer and state? I though my order with Runsnak CA with 1.5K off and 0.0003 discount on MF was good.

Not true. When I preordered my custom porsche there was 9% discount from downtown LA porsche a couple years ago. BMW is more generous than porsche.

There’s no allocations in the entire USA and there’s a wait list….. but dealers are giving $2700 - $3000 off MSRP? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That’s just bad business…..

That seems to be a good discount. My dealer knew so didn't even take a single cent off in MA. I need to get better at negotiating.

I got $3200 off at bmw of sf but they forced me into the "ceramic coating" of the interior and exterior of my car (which has a lifetime warranty) and will replace parts/repaint my car if it gets scratched or floor mats get stained apparently. I didn't think it was total money down the drain. That was $1200 so I technically only got 2k off. I'd say you got a great deal. I'd rather get the 3.2k discount with the forced "add on" vs no discount from other places. This was better than any dealer in the Bay Area that I spoke to. Some wouldn't budge and would only do msrp.

I also want to note that I bought my car in September 22.
