Santa brought me Psiclops

I plan on testing it out this weekend. Anyone have any experience with this device? It claims to balance the air between two tires and adjust pressure simultaneously.

I just did four tires so quickly, I'm kicking myself for not getting this earlier.

PSiclops saves time

As promised, this is my review of the PSIclops for a track day use.

The device works great in quickly checking and equalizing pressure between tires. One thing I learned, it takes about 5-10 seconds for the gauge to equalize pressure (not instantaneous). So keep that in mind.

I started off my tires (square set-up) with cold 34 psi all round. My target was 40-42psi hot. I was skating all around in the first session, I came in after 15 minutes hooked up the PSIclops and saw I was running almost 60psi in the front and 55 psi in the rear!!!

I quickly brought the pressure down to 41 psi and went back out. It took me about 2 minutes to do this and that includes running to my pit area for the psiclops and back to my car on pit row. Huge time saver which is important on track days.

Best $40 bucks a track junky can spend.

Second review. The release button on my unit sticks, and it keeps letting air out. I have to then run around the car to detach. Tire Rack gave me the number for the company that makes it. Left a message a week ago. Haven't heard back yet. Left another message this morning. Still didn't hear back.

Hopefully it's just this unit.

Fortunately, Tire Rack called back after I let them know I wasn't hearing from the company. I think they're going to exchange the faulty unit. Have to give them props for stepping up.
