AUX adapter with low volume
Posted this on the M3 forum, but maybe someone here can help me out.
I just picked up an e92 M3 non I-Drive. I don't have the 6FL option so I'm using an iPhone with the AUX plug. I am experiencing really low volume on just the AUX mode and was curious if I'm doing something wrong. I used the exact same setup on my 2006 330i and it worked perfectly fine. I'm using a Monster cable adapter that has a dock connector, so I am not using the headphone jack. Does anyone else experience this? I tried the cable in another car and it works fine there. I also tried a different iPod and its the same result. I have to turn up the volume 2-3 times higher in AUX mode and it still doesn't sound very good. When I switch it to another mode, the volume will stay in the elevated mode. |

Yup, there's an option you can get to through your radio to have the aux jack volume higher or lower then the radio volume.
