My 2023 X1 was delivered to the dealership this morning here is a photo for everyone to see sent by my ca to me this morning. The dealer is blacked out for security reasons. Options as follows; Premium Package, MSPORT, Shadowline Trim, Heated Seats/Steering Wheel, and 20in Rims Performance non rft tires, Mocha Seats, Eucalyptus Trim (Interior)

p.s. why is it a security issue to post/not post your dealer's name?

Does your state require front license plates? How is your dealership going to handle mounting so as to not mess up that beautiful MSport bumper?

They have notches in the front bumper for where the plate bracket needs to go. My state requires front plates, but 3/4 of our customers don't want one put on, rightfully so. I plan on just playing stupid if I ever get pulled over without my front plate, but it hasn't happened yet with me on my 21 228i

SC does not require front plates, but the dealer most likely will install a bracket and a plastic dealer advertisement plate and dealer decals

I'd lose my sh!t if a dealer drilled my front bumper install a front bracket for their own billboard. I've never had that in Pennsylvania. I always tell them in advance no adhesive dealer logos.

I've bought many cars from that dealer, so it's not exactly a secret for any BMW owner in the area.

Don't know how it is where you are, but here in Honolulu, the dealer is good about not drilling the plate mount if you request it before they do the PDI. We're a two plate state, but I honestly haven't heard of anyone getting pulled over for no front plate in like a decade. In fact, there are tons of cars here driving around with expired registrations and safety inspections

My ca specifically told me not to post any pictures that have the dealerships name on forums or social media prior to them being able to sell and market the cars. Apparently they could get into a lot of trouble with BMW NA. The dealership im using does not drill any front license plate mounts on the car.

SA indicated that buyers cannot take delivery of their vehicles that are on the dealer lots until the official release date.
