Genius says it'll be completely assembled and ready to ship on Sep. 15. And it's being built in Regensburg, and not Brazil like had been mentioned to me by my CA.

The website is being glitchy for me this morning. I’ll try mine at lunch when I do my daily update call. Fingers crossed mine starts.

Since almost the moment I ordered it, on Aug. 1. My build week was 36, which is next week, so it's a tad early!

Where in Mass are you? I'm in Salem. What's your build like?

We are in Western Mass. Our X1 is Portimao Blue Shadow line M-Sport, with Alcantara, Premium, 19” Wheels, and Heat. My wife is very excited for her new ride. This won out over the XC40, X3, RDX ASpec, and SQ5. Hopefully we like it as much as the pictures. Our dealership says they have seen the car and it’s lightyears above the model it replaces... Too bad they didn’t launch with an M35, some more power would have been nice, but it should be faster than the X3 which my wife felt had plenty of power. You don’t need much to outperform her 2010 CRV.

Sounds like you both did your homework. Good to know the X1 won out. This will be our first luxury car. The closest we came before was our fully loaded 2016 Buick Envision. I can't wait for the X1 to completely blow our current 2019 Equinox away.

The status changed to "Production begins" for me today. It was in "scheduled for production" for about 10 days.
