Loaner car chime sounds better than mine

I have an 06 325. Took my car in for service today, and they gave me a loaner 08 335i. I immediately notice that the start-up chime and the chime when you undo the seatbelt is FAR more pleasant than my car's.

Can the dealer do some kind of software update to change my car's chime noise?

screw it. you have an 08 335i now. just keep the car and move across the country

hahaha wtf since when do they give 335s as loaners????

it's a nice 335i too--comfort access, leather, etc. not the typical leatherette loaner i'm used to.

but anyone know if the chime is just a software thing?

and your own car not?

thats where the difference comes from

I have had loaners (335, 328) w/o i-Drive that had a different chime than mine too. I think its just the '07 and earlier have the old beep, where the newer ones have the chime. I was wondering this can be "upgraded", cause it sounds way better.
