Are 97506 Plugs the Undisputed Shizzle?

I'm settling in on the thought that my 2018 M550 needs plugs and coils to dispel the slightly rough running I've experienced lately, as well as the misfire indicia I received a few days ago. When I visit the dealer in a couple days, I will ask their opinion, then surely blanche at the proposed cost.

Trying to price out a set of spark plugs for the car, it seems like everyone and their dog's uncle propose the 97506 plug instead of stock. I am considering a tune and mods, but haven't done so yet. I might not. Is the 97506 really a better choice than the stock plug for ALL situations, or is it really suited just for tuned or thrashed engines? Note that my car is operated mostly in cold climates... by a 50+ geezer, if that makes any difference whatsoever.

Thanks, as always, for the collected wisdom!!

Just had the plugs done at the dealership on my 18 M550. It was $550 total.

Also, I have a BM3 license for sale if you want a tune! It totally transforms the car.
