Thank you and very interesting, since I plan to replace our 2014 X1 with a new model once things get settled done. Some observations
- If you don't get sport seats, you have a choice of black or white plastic. No leather option
- To get Live Cockpit Pro, you need to order a $4,200 option with a bunch of stuff I would not normally order. I want Live Cockpit Pro because we have it on our 540 and my wife wants to go from one car to the other seamlessly.
- Wonder what Space Silver Metallic looks like. All I can find is a 1/2" circle of the color on the BMW web site teaser.
- Anyone else have any thoughts?

We're going with San Remo green with mocha interior, with the eucalyptus trim. And the premium package because we want all that stuff, haha! My dealer is saying a Nov/Dec delivery.

You can build a space silver X1 on the BMW CA website and or build an i7 on the US site, which also comes in the color and gives you a decent idea.

Well what exactly is "Live Cockpit Pro" on the X1? Because I thought this option on the 3-Series (before 2023 model) just meant you got the digital instrument panel. But the X1 comes standard with a digital instrument panel. So I'm not clear what exactly is included in the Premium Pkg. Is it the cockpit recorder?

According to BMW's All about X1 video, the pro cockpit adds the HUD and Augmented Navigation abilities alongside the standard nav and digital cockpit (display)

Is the “pro cockpit hud” different from the HUD in the other BMWs? I test drove the x3’s and x5’s.

Also - Does the x1 come with drive assist pro or no? If not may be a deal breaker for me

Does anybody know exactly what the set up of the Harmon Kardon sound system is? It mentions number of speakers and watts, but doesn’t say if there is a DVD slot or changer, or a hard drive for storage...

No it’s the same HUD you’d get in the new iX ect

Rn you cannot equip DAP unless in UK, it will be an option but they don’t know when due to part shortages smfh. That said I’m very curious looking at the iX if we will at some point be able to add pieces if not the whole suite via connected drive store, as it currently is able to be added in the UK store (with models equipped with Parking Assistant Plus) which every premium package equipped X1 is getting.

I know this may not be helpful but 5AU Driving Assistant Professional is available and standard on Australian vehicles.

Does the transmission become a regular 8 speed transmission with the M sport package? or is it still the DCT?

In the US, there is only one engine and one transmission offered, so even with the M Sport you will get the DCT. The only difference with M Sport is that you will get paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
