2007 328i new owner audio question

I JUS T BOUGHT A 2007 328I CPO that i really love. i also have an 06 f150 with an upgraded sound system (avic z2 2 10" subs 1000 watts) and i am having a hard time with the stock stereo of the bmw. how many speakers does it have? it is the standard stereo. are there any amps, it sounds weak. i hate to think about adding a aftermarket stereo to the car. i read it had 10 speakers but i don't think it does. should i contact the dealer about getting the logic 7 stereo? also, how do i tell if i have the sport package? i do have 17" rims on it. thanks for any info, great site.

The info might be in the owners manual for the radio or try finding the 2007 328i catalog on the BMW website

if it says "professional" on the headunit you have the non logic 7. You have 2 speakers in the door that have tweetrs connected to them, 2 subs under your front seats, and two speakers in the back. Its a total of 8. Tons of upgrades you can do. I have replaced the subs under the seat and hooked up an amp. Earthquake sws-8's are a kind of drop in for the underseat subs.

The factory amp is in the trunk on the drivers side. Really easy to tap into the lines back there. The HU sends all the signals back to the amp and then the amp has wires to all the speakers.
