Post Your Presets

Starting to use the presets to program a quick way to get to things.
Very nice feature. So far, open Apple Car Play,
start drive recorder., and open a favorite radio station.
What else are you all programming?

7 is Tire pressures, 8 is Sport Displays, 1-6 are local FM radio stations. I'll use Android Auto if I want to play other music I guess. I like having Sport Displays as a preset so I can quickly check oil temp.

2 - Other half's phone
3 - Sound settings (I always lose them in the menu)
4- Local FM radio station
5- Apple Car Play
6 - Memory stick I always leave in the car
7- Trip Data
8 - Navigate to train station

Thanks for the tip to use a preset for tire pressure. Gonna do that tomorrow.

I just learned about this - here's my line up:

1- Navigate Home
2- Sport Displays
3- Carplay
4- Weather App
5- Bluetooth Devices (My phone doesn't connect on its own since I dropped the phone hard so this is useful)
6- Heating (Usually I keep the slider in the middle but sometimes I need the cold setting lol)
7- TPMS
8- Trip Data

The Navi defaults to bmw Navi ? Or can you set that as google or Apple Navi?

On a 2020 M340ix how do you display the tire pressures?
I don't see that option anywhere in the menu, I only see reset for tire pressures.

For me, it's in the Vehicle Status menu. In iDrive, I select "Car", then "Vehicle Status", then "Tire Pressure Monitor".

To "reset" the pressures is essentially to recalibrate the system based on current tire pressures; I would recommend doing this only if you know that the tires are at the iDrive-recommended pressures in the first place.
