I have been tracking my ship and it seems to have slowed down!
Strange question and definitely one from an over anxious new owner.
I have been tracking my ship "Undine" which is now about now 450 nautical miles from Halifax port. It was scheduled to arrive today the 9th of Dec but it has now been changed to the 11th of Dec. Since the last 48 hrs, it has deviated slightly from it course and has reduced it speed by 50%. My question to people who have tracked ships to Halifax before...is this normal due sea conditions in the area close to Halifax or is it more likely my ship is in trouble and is in " limp mode ". Average nautical miles it has done in a 6 hr stretch is 100 miles. It has even done over 300 miles at one leg of the voyage. Now , it is barely doing 50 nautical miles every 6hrs. All I can think of is my coupe up to its door sills in salt water.
