MT 335i W/ AE Catback and RR Catless DP's

So tonight, I am going to install the RR catless DP's with my MR2's engine builder in Sac. After that, we are going to head to the Drag Strip ( Saturday ) to see what she can do.

Does anyone know what to expect out of a 335i with just a cat back and dp's? I'm thinking low 13's?

I'll post my results and time slip sometime saturday/sunday.

all driver. I don't think those mods equate to a significant increase in horse powers. From what I have seen of dynos, that'll allow for about 1 more psi of boost without a tune. But, have a kick ass time and take pics. Post the time slip tomorrow or the next day.

Alrighty, so I'm a bit disapointed because I know I could have done better.

Best run was a 13.317 @ 99.673 MPH w/ a 2.039 60 foot. It was my first run with this car and I let off before the finish. It seemed I was out of gear in the top of third. I later found out I could push third all the way threw past the finish.

Fastest MPH was a 13.490 @ 104.074 MPH w/ a even crappier 2.107 60 foot.

So with a better launch, and pushing it all the way threw, I'm thinking the car can go 13.1's with these mods, and nothing else.

On my first run of a 13.317 ( Left Lane ), the run was against another 335i. He ran a 13.449 @ 106.847 ( Right Lane ). He seemed to pick up most of his mph on the second half of the track. I think I heard something about being on a different tune? Not sure if he was chipped or not, and just not running up to the cars potential. I know he was having a hard time launching as well. ( My GF says she heard him say something about Vishnu ) He also had exhaust, and UR intake... No DP's.

His car was very good looking BTW... Blue on Black MT, Work Wheels, MTech front Lip, and some kind of trunk lid.

pics of you 2 staged?

Drag racing is real frustrating for me. I'm just not good at it. And, it bothers me know that the only thing holding the car back from actualizing it's full potential is me.
