2008 Black Ninja 250R w/less than 80miles - $3900 obo(Northern VA)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
**Price Drop to $3,700**

I have decided to sell my 2008 Ninja 250R. I purchased the bike in late January 2008...and I believe I might have been the first person or one of the first persons in VA to get one.

Why am I selling the bike? Simple, I barely ride it. I've put a measly 80 miles on it in 10 months.

So as you can see the bike is practically brand new. It has never been dropped, tipped over or anything. I've kept the bike outside and covered up with a motorcycle cover (you can have the cover for free and even the lock). The bike is completely stock and I have not done any modifications to it. The bike does however need to make it back to a dealer so that the recalls can be done on it free of charge. I have the title in hand. I also have some gear that I might be willing to sell (which is also practically brand new). Send me a pm if you have any questions.

this is an excellent bike for both beginners and those who just a means of getting around town. Quick for it's size as well. One of the riders that met up with us this weekend for a cruise had a black 2008 one with a slip on and kept up with us (600s, and 1000s) the whole way both street and highway.

I agree, definately a great bike for beginners. That's why I got it, just haven't found enough time to ride it

All 08's & 09's are sold out. It's a hot bike, no doubt.

I'm assuming its a 250cc? It looks pretty good for a novice bike.

I'm not sure what it would take to send a bike to Canada, however I like to deal face to face and would prefer that the buyer pick it up in person to avoid any issues with payment and shipping.

Wow, the new Ninja's look pretty slick! I'm glad they gotta rid of the combined drive/passenger seat.

MSRP for a 2009 is $4,000...however you'd be hard pressed to ever find one at MSRP... all 09 are sold out from what I understand because the bike is such a huge hit and in high demand, so dealers are jacking up the price.

08's MSRP'ed for $3,700 and since I was one of the first people in the country to get one, I paid much more than that.
