Port Installed Diffuser options

Can someone confirm I have this right?

There are two options for rear diffusers. The $365 gloss black option and the $1065 carbon fiber option.

Do they both need the M performance rear trim for $645 to be able to install the diffuser? Is the rear trim the black piece going from end to end and the diffuser is just the middle piece? And you have options for either black or carbon just on that middle piece?

Yes the diffuser is two pieces - one piece spans the length of the entire rear of the car and the second piece is the finned piece that sits at the bottom between the two tailpipes.

The center section (referred to as finned above) simply snaps into the larger piece

Wow! $700 difference between the GB and CF... outside of that, is there a difference between the two?

The trim for both is identical and required for the diffuser options. MSRP on the carbon fiber diffuser is just way more than the plastic gloss diffuser.

If you want carbon fiber without the OEM price tag, the AutoTecknic carbon fiber diffuser is a nice match for about $500.
