Anyone use spacers on XI?

Are any of you running spacers on the rear for more of a "flush" look? If so, what size? And, any issues specific to the XI using these things? Thanks.

Here are 12mm H&R Spacers on my E92 Xi. no problems at all. Probably could have fit 15mm but might rub with fat chicks in the back

Thanks for the responses so far. For those that use spacers, do you use them in front and rear? Or, is it more common to use them just in rear?

I use them up front w/o problems. I use Rogue Engineering 15mm spacers with their bolts.

i have 1 1/4 inch spacers on the rear for my winter setup (17x7.5 +35 all around) dropped on KW v3...it rubs a little so im going to raise up the car half an cm or so...im waiting for my front spacers (20mm) to arrive...without the spacers, the car looks too funny. Now it has a more aggressive stance.

Rogue spacers FTW! quality is top notch and its also easy to get them off if they rust onto the hub.

wheels locks with spacers

Are wheel locks suggested/required if using spacers?

You can use wheel locks, but follow the guidelines published by Rogue Engineering.

+1. Rogue provides the part numbers for McGard locks so there's no way to go wrong.

i believe RAD makes extended locks for use with spacers. they are like $40-50 for a set.

I've been meaning to get spacers for my winter set, they're 17x8" ET37 which are even worse than oem. However I've been concerned about how handling and turning will affected with a wider rear track (vs front), do any of you find that things are in any way "off" by having spacers only at the back? I'm looking at either 15 or 18mm from Rogue.

i didn't feel it driving any different to be honest. but thats just daily driving, no track use so i can't say for sure that you would feel no difference either.

Fair enough, but what about tight turning situations like backing into a parking space?

I haven't been able to feel much difference with the 15mm front spacers that I have.

Compared to H&R spacers, rogue spacers are absolute shit.

Just compare the quality between H&R spacers next to Rogue Spacers.

I had the Rogue 10mm spacers on the rear of my E46 M3 (i run a 18x9.5 square set up ET35) and the spacer just was stuck on. I used copper anti-seize and cleaned up the hub before putting the spacer on. They are garbage.

The H&R spacer looks much better made and also is easy to put on and take off (space available in the middle to use to pull off.

I don't really require the extended bolts since I have a stud kit on the E46 M3 and plan on putting one on the E90 as well - makes wheel swaps much easier.

I have a spare set of 12mm spacers that I plan on putting on the rear of my car when the time comes. Just need to order a set of studs from Turner Motorsports.
