I'm looking to get a new phone soon and I know some of the newer large screen samsung phones may not fit in the charging cradle of the M340I. I currently have an S9+ which fits both the Z4 and M340I. It also works as a digital key for the Z4.

I've never had an apple phone so I'm not sure I want to go that route yet.

Maybe a google pixel 5? I have never used one before.

What do we know fits and doesn't fit?

the s20 Ultra does not fit. my one plus 8 pro just about fits.

Don't get the overside phone it won't fit the wireless charger

I-phone 12 Pro Max which is huge fits fine with a slim case.

Yup. Have the same iPhone with an Apple case. Not sure if you could do the same phone with an Otterbox defender case tho. It's pretty snug already.

My S10+ with a Spigen Neo Hybrid case fit just fine. My S20 Ultra with the Samsung leather case did not fit. I could get it to work if I pushed it in there but then getting it back out was a pain. My S21 Ultra with the Samsung leather case does fit but just barely. I actually like how snug the S21 Ultra fits lol

However it's case dependant. Thin silicone or tpu cases are not a problem, the leather Samsung case doesn't fit.

Just a little plug for the iPhone. I’m on my second iPhone after many years with Android phones and I would be unlikely to go back to an Android phone. The iPhone was very easy to adapt to.

I have the 12 Pro Max with the standard Apple case (so not particularly thin) and it fits fine. Close, but still fine.

S21 ultra fits just fine in my 330e without a case but will also fit with the slimmest of cases.

For the record, I got myself an S21+ since the phone was almost free with incentives. It fits ok with the UAG case, but just barely.

The UAG case isn't completely flat on the back so the phone doesn't seem to get anywhere near as warm (hot) as my S9+ with flat back case did.

My Note 20 Ultra with a leather case fits fine, still have some room on all sides. Hopefully future phones don't go beyond this size (unless it's a foldable phone), as this is already humongous lol

Hi,

This is an old thread but thought I would see if anyone can provide any updates with regards to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with case, fitting in the wireless charging tray of a G20/G21?

I would like the official Samsung S21 Ultra Clearview Case to go with the phone as it also holds an S Pen, but will it fit in the tray with the case?

Samsung list dimensions of case as 169.5mm x 86.55mm

I have a 330e with the wireless charger and my current Samsung S7 Edge works fine with it but need to upgrade my phone now, its old. I've aimed at the S21 range as I've been told by my local dealer that this will be fully compatible with both Android Auto and Digital Key. Why they make these phones so big I don't know, the size of my S7 edge is fine for one handed use, bigger phones make this an impossible task. If the Ultra wont fit then I guess I will have to go for the S21+ instead but its a shame as the Ultra is a much better phone and I can get it with 512GB Storage for just £60 more than the S21+.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip (the folding phone) and it doesn't fit when it's open but fits when I fold it and still charges through the case.
