Air vent gauge

Subscribed to Thic F30 and just came across this in his recent vid:

Looks really tidy and seems useful. Anyone installed this?

Not crazy money I think

This is old tech.

As gippy says, get an OBD dongle and a decent App.

I use OBDFusion - multiple and customisable dashboards plus a huge range of data and sensors which can be displayed.

Far better and far cheaper.

I thought about the P3 gauge, but I, too, went with an app (JB4 app as that is the tune I use; plus it displays 6 gauges, not just one). I ran a power cord to the air vent on the left of the steering wheel and bought an air vent mount for an old phone I had sitting in a drawer. It works great for me.

Sure, a phone will do the job but the point of this device is that it's nicely integrated into the car and leaves your phone free to do other things. Such as Waze

I use my UniCarScan UCSI-2000 for when I play around with bimmercode. What app would you guys recommend to read information like the air vent gauges?

That's why I used an old phone, so I could continue to use my current phone as I normally would.
