Lightbulb Anyone interested in VENT COVERS for V-Vented Hoods?

Hello,

If you anyone is interested in vent covers for those rainy/snowy days, I am in the process of constructing something. Vorsteiner use to have these back in the day for the e46, but stopped production, I believe. I sort of like this feature better, since it will be an easy snap in cover under the hood. Yes, it will be safe. The final version will be wrapped in carbon fiber and then sealed.

Price will be reasonable, of course, I'm not out to make money off these, so my gift is to you guys. Now, just wondering who will be interested.

I can get these made for either: E92 or E90. I have someone in mind with an E90 vented in NY, so I can get measurements and test fitments. I won't ask for a down payment or anything until items shipped!

I will keep this thread updated with all major designs and test fitted pictures for forum critique.

Thanks, mike.

*Mods- Once I get the first batch, I will sign up for forum duties* As of now, this is just for find out who is interested.

Yeah, well rain is not a big problem the vents don't really sit over any key places, with me I have the BOV, so the vent is like very close to that, but still not a problem since the air blows out...... otherwise this is mainly for crazy bucket rain.
