LED Ring Markers (H8 replacements)......
I picked them up from Teddy @ SSDD earlier this month, fitted them and forgot them.
Anyway, I thought I'd post up some pics for other forum members who might be interested. The LED is on the left and the standard bulb is on the right (for those that don't know!) The LED splits in two once tightened in the socket and fans out so each LED nearly touches the ring (behave!) Fairly easy and straightforward to fit, it's just a pain to get your hand in the available space. The driver's side is far,far easier to replace, hence the pictures! Standard: LED: Both LED: OEM Left, LED right: LED: Full lights (not full beam): If you look into the middle of the ring you can just see the pin split in half No error warning lights to date. I've got the Gp Thunders in mine which, though a tad dim, look much nicer than stock IMO
Just wonder how much better these ones are for £105 ?? |

Perhaps a deal could be struck with a group buy ?
Having said that still expensive with 20% off - £83 Ouch !! GP thunders are a good compromise at £20, I have these and if you look back at the 29th Aug Snetterton thread pictures they do look brighter than OEM - must admit though the LED's look spot on. ....Dear Santa...............

Ian, very cool pictures I was waiting for someone to post up pics of the LEDs!!
I like my GP Thunders and I think the they project light really well, even in daytime (see pic below), however, I would be interested to see how the LEDs compare to mine in the flesh on Sunday |

Hey, what colour are your GP Thunders? I've ordered ordered a pair of 8500k bulbs and I'm worried now that they might be too blue but if they're the same as yours then they're cool! |

Great job with the LED's, but a bit 'Rich' for me! Wot Lamps do you need for an E91 to look better up front? Bearing in mind 'Credit Crunch' and all that! And, I've got shares in 'Bradford and Bingley' (yes really!)

When installed, have DRL's on - so lights in the off or Auto position. That way the GP Thunders project brighter than if you select "side lights" |
