Hawk Pads
I've been running Pagid RS4-2 pads with my Stoptech Trophy BBK - they're quiet for street use, have good cold bite, and they generally perform OK on the track. They rumble when they get very hot, but they don't fade badly.
I'm looking for a pad with a little more stopping power, but I don't want to run noisy pads. That rules out Ferrodo DS2500 and UNO, Pagid yellow series (RSL1 / 19 / 29) for example. I'm running RSL1 pads in my rear brake setup and they squeal in slow traffic. I'll be replacing the Stoptech discs soon and a UK Stoptech dealer has recommended Hawk DCT-60. Online reviews suggest that these may be pretty noisy. Interested in direct experience of these pads.
