Brakes and Rotors

Hey guys! I just got new brake pads installed a few days ago from BMW for the rear. I ordered new rotors and they finally came in. I've driven 400 miles since getting the pads installed. Can I still install the new rotors? The rotors currently on the car are the rotors that came with my car from the factory- I never changed them

Any help is appreciated!

How many miles are on the vehicle at the moment? There is no specific why rear rotors cannot be replaced at any time, whether worn or not. Just follow proper brake bedding procedure.

47k on the car right now. My main concern is that I've used the new brakes for 400 miles and I don't know if they'll work well with brand new rotors. I've read about sanding down the pads to make them smooth so they work well

400 miles is nothing. Put the new rotors on.

Yeah it doesn't matter.

Bedding isn't really necessary with stock pads anyways. If you're running aggressive pads/ tracking your car it's beneficial, but for a DD stock performance unbedded is fine. Just drive

So by the time I will actually be able to get them installed, it will be around 700 miles. Is that okay still?

Even 10k+ miles is fine lol.

The fact that it's the rear rotors as well makes it even less of an issue. The fronts do like 90% of the work.
