That video is a repost. But it is clear that other drivers are much more animated/aggressive around me in this car than any other car I have driven. I just dont understand it. I dont drive like a tool, everyone else just seems to be mad at life. But this did not happen to me in any other cars. WTF?

i think 350z and rx8 owners are pretty bad around here, they try to "race" everything by winding up their little engines and weaving

I hate some Pickup truck/Big SUV drivers: this only applies to those who don't use it for work. They usually have giant chrome wheels, raised suspension, flames, and sometimes a giant American flag. These guys squeeze through traffic as if they are driving sports cars. Or they drive right up to your a$$ with their annoying raised headlight.

Crazy article. I don't know what they try to prove with this. When you watch the video, you don't even know the guy is the owner of the car. Maybe the car was just broken, the owner walked away, and the guy on the video was the journalist from motive mag trying to find something for his daily article ?

This is more why BMW drivers are disliked - or "a pack of wankers" as we'd say. LOL

Since I got my E90 I have become much more of a hooligan driver than before - pass cars on the right at 80 mph on a 55 mph highway, rev the engine as I pass people because they are going too damn slow, etc. Why do I drive like this now? Because I can! However, I am always safe and under control unlike many "fast" drivers who have poor control of their cars.

They're idiots... I have a lightly modified 350Z and I know my stock 335i will kill it in the long run.

But tools are everywhere in every car. A Porsche Cayman S was waiting for me on the freeway to race (he was slowing down to pull next to me) when I was just trying to go home. Same thing w/ a Celica.

This was awesome... sad though that they used an E30 m3 as example. E30 M3 crowd isn't at all like that.. lot's of E9X guys on the other hand....

I think they chose it because it looks quite "dated" - hence it makes the douchebag with his "BMW" look that much more desperate.

Totally agree with you though - M owners are typically more "entusiast" type drivers than say your E46 330/E92 335 driver who tends to be less enthusiast and more brand oriented....

it has been awhile that BMW has been aggressive on its marketing campaign. they should start making those awesome short films again to show what BMW is really about. at least put some of their cars in movies like what Audi is doing.

That's the stupidest article I've read in a while. So one guy is in front of a BMW dancing like an idiot and so BMW drivers are like him? I would like to give a big FU to the person who wrote that article.

The dancing douche looks like he's on something anyway and should have that bimmer taken away from him.

I drive alot calmer in traffic and what not since I bought mine..it rides so smooth and looks so good going that I dont need to show it off...

however when its late at night with no traffic or Im on a back road that is weavy I will drive a lil more aggressively because of the great suspension, brakes, and DS and manual mode...I love it...of course by mpg calculator goes down significantly

BMWs, or at least 3-series, do tend to bring out my inner teenager. I actually go out of my way to be even more polite and deferential in traffic since I got my BMW - I always wave merging traffic in, and let pedestrians cross ahead of me in shopping center parking lots. Once I'm out on the open road, though, I can't resist being that asshole who insists on going 80 on a 45-MPH country road, reaching 90 MPH between exits on the freeway in the middle of the city, and trying out my 0-60 with Dynolicious in the city at night. The car is so poised, the engine so free-revving and the handling so immediate that I don't seem to be able to behave like the responsible 37-year-old lawyer I am. On the bright side, at least I don't have an M3!
