Will this Upgrade work?

I previously upgraded the brake caliper/rotor on my f30 328i base with a setup from a 335i, but in the end the project was costly and the upgrade was noticeable but not significant.

I have another f30 328i, and I want to do a similar upgrade but before i shell out the money on 335i or 340i brakes, my friend offered me calipers and rotors of a parts F01 7 series, or the caliper/rotors off a f10 5 series for a really really good deal.

my reasoning is that they would be a good upgrade since they are designed to stop a significantly heavier car... and i have the 18in sport wheels so clearance shouldn't be an issue.

Will either setup of calipers/rotors fit the f30?
is this worth considering?

Ok I just talked to him and he also has a set of e92 335i calipers, and while i know it seems like a downgrade to get parts from an older bmw the e92 335i has much larger rotors and calipers so I would assume that would be an upgrade

Would that work?
