Curious to know why this M Sport wheel lacks a colored stripe at the 12 o'clock position, like every other wheel:

It's a refurbished wheel from eastern Europe. They take the parts from salvaged (or stolen) cars, refurbish them and sell them on ebay.

You can tell by the single stage airbag and because the button which on the US cars says 'set' for the cruise says 'lim'. The cruise control is not standard on euro cars, the ones without cruise have a limiter, which requires the driver to keep their foot on the gas but will limit the car to the set speed.

Because it's a Euro spec single stage airbag

It will just requires coding to make it work and some people worry if it will go off.
