Smile Picked up a 335d Today

Got rid of my 325d F31 and picked up a 335d F31 from BMW AUC today with some decent spec.

mineral grey
msport plus package
prov nav
heat seats
HK
adaptive suspension

Thought the drive home was excellent and I had read lots of threads on how bad the xdrive suspension was and it needed the aftermarket springs to make it handle decent so this was going to be the first mod. Got home parked it up and thought something didn't look right, where was the large arch gap and thought it looked a little low. Decided i would have a look at the suspension, wow, what a result when i saw the AC Schnitzer stamp on the springs Now i know why the car felt sooo good.

Congrats on the purchase, I'm also an F31 335D owner in mineral grey, Snap! 😎

I've just ordered some H&R's for mine, has to be said putting the car in sports with the adaptive suspension does make it feel a tonne better, looking forward to losing the arch gap!

Nice motor.. Beware when you lose the arch gap you may well lose your front splitter.. Careful planning of your routes may be required in the future..

This, it’s the reason I’ve left mine normal height, I’ve caught it on loads of speed bumps and multi storey car park ramps, would hate to think how much worse it would be lowered!

Thanks mate!

Springs have arrived today and will be fitted soon, arch gap from factory is laughable! 🤣

No issues with clearance whatsoever, but of course it will be closely monitored when going to old school pubs with shit car parks and the like for sure!

That being said I'm the one doing the driving if we go out as she's a little intimidated by the size of it compared to our previous e90!

I'm ridiculously particular about where I park the car, so I'll just have to be extra vigilant!
