Question for M3 owners

Is M3 for everyday drive? Will it be too sporty and uncomfortable? I'm sorry I never drive an M3 before and thinking of getting one when it arrives in 2007, replacing the 325.

mine is my daily driver. Its as comfortable as a standard 3 Series, just a lil harder ride.

My previous car was an e46 M3. I did not use it as a every day car. The roads where I live are to damn bad! The suspension on the M3 is very hard.

I can't answer your question, but since the 2007 M3 will be a completely different car than the current version I'd say your best bet to find out whether it is comfortable enough for you is to wait for it to come out and drive it.

Ride characteristics changed from the E46 325/330 to the E90 325/330, so it stands to reason that the same thing will happen with the M3. That being the case, only BMW test drivers and prognosticators will be able to give you an accurate idea of what to expect.

My M3 is my daily driver, not too uncomfortable for me but then again I came from an Integra Type R and that was really uncomfortable. I can say that when I get into the 330i, it really shows me how rough the M3 is.

wow! Im surprised for I recently had a M5, after a few days I felt it was too much tuff and competition ride for daily commuting, plus a car that can ezsily get me in trouble. It doesnt like 35mph speed limit and sustaining 70-80mph was stressfull for a guy on the fence with max speeding points so I traded it.
Im eyeing a M3 for a purchase in a yr or two, I having second thoughts now, hearing your post, but I hope you re wrong.

the jury is still out on that question, thats why i say a yr or two when it comes out. I will have a sense if its within forced mean$ or get an older M.
Im really worried about the new M3 design too.
